UPS Sorry About That Driver Who Peed On House After Throwing Package

It’s nothing new to hear of a UPS, USPS or FedEx driver being caught on camera treating a customer’s package with reckless disregard for its contents. But what you don’t hear too much about are delivery drivers who, after mistreating the parcels with which they’ve been entrusted, decide to use the recipient’s house as a toilet.

But that’s exactly what happened to a UPS customer in Texas, who not only has video evidence of a UPS driver doing damage to his parcels, but also caught the man urinating on his house.

“I don’t know how UPS trains their employees to go to the bathroom, but probably not someone’s yard,” the homeowner tells KHOU-TV, adding that he makes no attempts to hide the cameras on the outside of his house and that you can see the driver looking around to see if he’s being watched. “You’re paying someone to take a package to go from point A to point B, so basically I paid someone to come to my house and pee on it.”

He says that his attempts to get anyone at UPS to give a hoot were initially fruitless — until he posted the video footage on the UPS Facebook page.

“They didn’t want to see it, now they’re going to see it,” he explains.

After the video went public — the homeowner also posted it on the KHOU Facebook page — he got a call from a UPS supervisor.

“She was apologetic and wants to send me a ‘we’re sorry’ gift,” says the homeowner.

UPS tells the AP that the driver, who was seasonally employed by the company, has been fired for his unacceptable behavior.
